Education Education is the foundation for the existence of the FBTA – South Florida Chapter. The FBTA was founded in 1990 by a group of travel industry leaders that wanted to raise the knowledge and professionalism of those individuals whose careers were in managing or selling travel related services. Each of our monthly meetings is designed to provide current, leading edge information to our membership, and to create a comfortable social environment where networking and peer recognition can be accomplished informally.

Florida Business Travel Association The Florida Business Travel Association - South Florida Chapter (FBTA) provides an important forum for the exchange of information, education and ideas among its members, who include representatives from local corporations and leading travel industry suppliers. Our emphasis is to work together to better understand new and emerging travel management practices. FBTA is committed to enhancing the travel profession by sponsoring educational and informational programs for its members, and by providing top-rated speakers to address travel-related issues, concerns and current "hot topic" items. Our chapter is an excellent venue for the sharing of travel-related information and professional expertise, and is an organization focused on perfecting the science of business travel management.

Global Business Travel Association FBTA is an affiliate of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), whose members represent major corporations and travel suppliers. Along with FBTA, the global organization provides members with information on the latest technical and service advantages within the industry, as well as current legislative issues involving travel costs and safety matters affecting business travel.
