Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Policy Statement
This policy has the goal to set guidelines for refunds/cancellations/voiding of GBTA South Florida sales. It applies to members, vendors, board members, guests and sponsors.
2. GBTA South Florida Chapter Membership Refund/Cancellation Policy
The Global Business Travel Association South Florida Chapter reserves the right to refuse/cancel any membership. If GBTA SOUTH FLORIDA refuses a new or renewing membership, registrants will be offered a refund.
3. Membership Cancellation by Participant
A. Any cancellation request must include a justification.
B. Membership cancellations received within 14 days of registration may be eligible to receive a full refund less $50 service fee.
C. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
D. Cancellations will be accepted via phone, or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
E. Membership transfers in case of terminations, relocations etc are allowed, with a $50 transfer fee.
F. All benefits and incentives received by participant must be cancelled/returned to GBTA SOUTH FLORIDA.
G. All refund requests must be made by the member or credit card holder.
H. Refund requests must include the name of the member and/or transaction number.
I. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
J. These above policies apply to all GBTA South Florida memberships unless otherwise noted.
4. Event Cancellation by GBTA South Florida Chapter
The GBTA SOUTH FLORIDA reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If GBTA SOUTH FLORIDA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, GBTA SOUTH FLORIDA has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
5. Registration Cancellation by Participant
A. Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 7 business days before the event.
B. Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a $20 service fee.
C. Registration attendee transfer is allowed if done 7 days in advance.
D. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
E. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
F. Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
G. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
H. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.
I. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
J. These above policies apply to all GBTA SOUTH FLORIDA Events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
6. GBTA SOUTH FLORIDA Goods and Product Refund/Return Policy
Silent/live auction items, donations, and productions may be returned when following this guidelines. All returns of goods and materials purchased directly from the GBTA South Florida require prior authorization. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable; returns must be authorized by GBTA South Florida within 10 days of the invoice date. Within ten (10) days of purchase, we will replace, substitute or repair, at our sole discretion, any GBTA South Florida product that is deemed defective.
Products provided/sold by GBTA South Florida partners and affiliated programs are subject to the return policy of the partner.
Products which are software or downloadable from any GBTA SOUTH FLORIDA website or provided media (CD ROM, Memory Drives, etc) are non-refundable.
